ACE Curriculum
Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) has been developing and supplying a self-directed learning curriculum based on a biblical worldview since 1970. Today, more than 6,000 Christian schools and more than 10,000 homeschools around the world adopt and use ACE.
Q.
From what grade, is the curriculum available?
A. In line with the U.S. interdisciplinary, the curriculum is available from K-12. However, ACE does not particularly adopt a student’s age or a school grade. The initial diagnostic assessment identifies the student's level of learning and starts learning from that level individually.
Q.
What subjects are available?
A. Students will learn English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Word Building, Literature and Creative Writing, and other electives (Bible, Health, Speech, etc.). All subjects are structured based on a Christian worldview and are taught in English.
Q.
How will the students learn?
A. The ACE curriculum pursues self-study, and mastery-based learning. Students set their own goals for each day, in each subject, and strive to achieve them. The supervisors motivate students to achieve their goals and constantly check on them to ensure their learning. In addition, at the end of each booklet, two tests (self-test and PACE test) are conducted to ensure the mastery of their learning. The student s can only move on to the next booklet, if they have scored above certain score.
Q.
What other advantages does the ACE curriculum have?
A1. The ACE curriculum combines subject-specific learning and character education (60 traits you need to have as a Christian) that are interpreted based on a Christian worldview.

A2. By using textbooks that have already been developed with 45 years of experience and tradition, teachers are able to devote the time and effort they put into the development of the teaching materials to their students to promote personal care, and to seek students’ needs. Teachers have opportunities to develop their skills through annual conventions and re-trainings offered every 3-5 years.

A3. Because the education is tailored to the level of the students, it is possible to reduce excessive competition and the resulting stress on the students, and to promote creative and positive thinking.
A4. Because we conduct self-study, students develop the ability to learn autonomously and have a sense of accomplishment as they set and achieve their goals. This also maximizes efficiency and the ability to concentrate.
